This is the Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 260. A 12" convertible laptop that has a lot of versatility. Great for school work or watching Twitch videos.
Today we take it apart to see what it looks like on the inside.

new or used? I would stay away from any new acer, asus or HP. I'd rather have a good used quality laptop over a cheap new one personally.

Is it a windows setting? You can usually right click on the screen and display properties to check. I have a tablet, I should make a video about that

I'm a fan of both Lenovo and Dell personally but I think the best used machines out there are the Lenovo T450s or the Dell 7470 personally.

Is this a good buy in 2023 for school? I’m seeing some good used ones for $180

It should be fine as long as you’re not looking for a gaming machine. If this is just for internet / emails / homework then it’s more than adequate

I tried all updates..etc everything seems normal and in hardware devices i see sensors..etc

That sounds like a motherboard issue. They may have a limited lifespan. Has it been bent or dropped? Or is the power cord loose?

@@MikeDancy Hi, no.. no at all. and both usbs are working.. they just dont detect my logitech mouse usb dongle. out of nowhere.. i had it there for year and it was working and one day it just stopped.. same time with camera and fingerprint sensor. In Windows HW devices i see 3 biometric sensors.. can you tell me names of your sensors there? I tried remove and reinstall and no luck..

what sensors? I haven't had this laptop for a couple of years. typically I make the video and then sell the item

Can I upgrade the RAM from 8 RAM to 16 of this device? Can I play fortnite on this device?

I believe that the ram is soldered on but it should be able to play Fortnite on low(ish) settings. You'd be better off getting a Dell 5490 with an i7-6th gen though

you just have to buy 1 stick of 16 gb ,its clearly not soldered in .

@@marxman00 Some models have soldered ram, mine doesn't and so I installed a 16GB stick without problem. Also some models have FHD screen and others (including mine) only HD.
