Is there any "ambient" or "transparency" mode on the ANC. When I use on ear headphones (anc or otherwise) on calls I can't really hear my own voice well which is a problem, so wondering if one of the anc modes takes in ambient noise to amplify voices?

It depends on your setup. I used for watching on iPad and it was fine.
