Hi, Lee. I think alot of people underestimate Sevilla and Lens and therefore say that the group is easy, which is ridiculous. Lens were 2nd last year, yes they started poorly this year, but have slowly gotten better, 2nd Sevilla are really good and the main reason they always end up in the Europa League is due to them facing off usually 2 giants in their groups that make them get points mainly vs the weakest one in the group of four. The only team that is easy, both on paper and in reality, is argueably PSV. Not an Arsenal fan. A juve fan, who also follows whenever a bulgarian team reaches a club or an international tournament. I said in January last season the team looked fatigued with Saka becoming less physical with each game. If you look at the front 4 you'd have to ask yourself the question...compared to last season who's in form, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saka, Jesus? Maybe this is why we arent clicking atm? Xhaka wasn't that great so it can't solely be down to his position being filled by a combo of Haverz, Vieira etc? Rice is a clear upgrade on Partey imo. If we go Partey Rice against City we are gonna have to accept we will be less creative. This could be a time for Trossard and his guile, decision making in the final 3rd to help us out. Odegaard doesn't seem to produce much flair for a number 10 imo. He seems more of a goal scorer than a great intricate passing player. Wenger won the league in 2004 because majority of the games he played his strongest 11. Anyone who watched Arsenal in that perioid knows that to be true. Arteta needs to stop the experimenting. He was struggling with the Havertz conundrum and gave himself another head ache getting Raya. He needs to stop being so impulsive in decision making. Tomiyasu was horrendous. Lots of sideways and backwards passing. Rice and Jesus were our best players.
