Good tutorial! My question is: I have a case in which i have no checkerboard OR straight lines in the footage, so, how do I calculate the lens distortion using features? do you mean to calculate it though the cameratracker?

Yes, using cameraTracker or Lens Distortion node where you can calculate with features, but better option if you have a footage like that i suggest you to calculate using tracking software like 3Dequalizer which will give you way better result!

Nice tutorial but i have an issue, how do i get the overscan from this lens distortion, the other node gives an overscan resolution which you can use to render out your CG in any 3d application. but this new Lens Disrtortion node does not. can you help.
