In this video I'm testing my new heat socks from Lenz. I test them in three different boots; Safety saw boots, hiking boots and a pair of alpine ski boots. Follow along and see how they perform. This is the ski version, Lenz heat socks 5.1 rcb 1200.

What is your shoe size and how are the socks (42-44 seen on the video) sizewise in toe and calf areas? All in all do they feel tight? Cannot find any info about the sizing of these 5.1 socks. My shoe size 42 and im afraid the 42-44 are too big in the toe area so the heat conduction would not work ideally, if I wanted to use big rubber boots/boots without laces as in your first test. Thanks for the video.

Hi. The fitting around the foot is good. I don't have particulary wide feet so I can't really comment on that other than that they of course are streatchy. The heat cord is sewed on the upper side of the sock, only to loop down under the big toe. In rubber boots I would like to have a heated sole instead, since the cold come from the ground. Hi thanks for the video, Do you know if the heating elements are wires or a material? Secondly, have you experienced any issues with overheating or burning? Essentially I will need to stand in these socks for a few hours a day and then walk in them for a period of one to two hours.

Hi. The heating system is a thin cord running down the front of the leg and ankle, looping under the big toe. I guess there are disclaimer text on the burning topic but I'm not concerned at all.

@@HandymanHultman Thanks. I decided to buy them; I will find out if they suit me. I don't need my toes to warm, just at body temperature. Standing still for long periods and placing weight on my toes concerns me. Honestly, Lenz should partner with Clim8 heating.
