For those who couldnt do it properly, simply remove the battery and quickly put it back in and THEN disconnect the power cable to get it to boot again

Actually you can also power up your phone, if you operate out the power button and you use a wet knife instead. It's the simplest way, but of course it's more practical to change your phone by then :D

If you have a J7 Prime, which is not that easy to take out its battery, just try to press and hold the volume up and down buttons at the same time. I've done it with the charger unplugged. It worked for me.
