I like this. I wish this show would do more stories like this (true-to-life and grounded) and less convoluted sci-fi (mind-mapping, back from the dead, etc). Soaps can excel in social issue stories like this. GH used to do it very well.

Phew, I am glad that Ned was open to what Austin was saying and that he didn’t see it as a ploy like Brooklyn did. I think they are writing Austin to be a complicated but overall decent guy, he’s a Quartermaine but not like the ones who came before him who would use it to get what they want

This was an incredible scene between Austin & Ned. The dialogue was eloquent & delivered well.

Leo is Autistic…OK! Now it’s been said, what’s the plan!? I don’t understand WHY these writers side step & drag their feet on these topics.. YES it’s an extremely sensitive situation and topic however if we fail on being more comfortable with the reality of children with special needs even autism we are failing them…make it more important to discuss and embrace the reality then sounding like it’s a tragic delivery…. I’m speaking as a sister with two brothers who had special needs & autism wayyyy BEFORE it was a diagnosis (40years ago) and my parents were devastated due to the lack of education and poor delivery from medical professionals back in the early 80’s times…it was delivered with to much certainty and things have definitely CHANGED!! There is a array of support and countless sources for families today who are facing the same needs….autism isn’t a ending of absolution it’s just another stairway for a child to climb towards their achievements 💖🌈 !! I hope they do this storyline right!!!!! 🤞🏽

I love how he used his mastery of the English language to gently convey to Ned about his concerns about Leo’s “problem” or condition! Austin used the word “range” instead of the word “spectrum” which can mostly be construed to most new parents dealing with the prospect of their child having autism as a four-letter word! And I kind of feel bad for Ned for wanting to help his son, even while noticing signs that things were not 100% with his son/stepson but being reluctant to bring it up with his wife(Olivia) who seems to be willing to bury her head in the sand in regards to the mental health of her son! Here’s to hoping that the Quartermaines and extended family can rally wagons together in order to make sure Leo gets the help he needs! It’s been a long time since the Q’s gathered together in defense of their family and not their family business!

Olivia is a but slow on the uptake (esp as a mom).....I found it odd when they were at the pool & she asked him to say hello (I believe it was Finn) n he ttly ignored her...i thought it odd but figured, perhaps he had an issue with him, but I also believed it odd that Olivia brushed it off w/o following up.

For once can Austin lose his cool and tell Brooklyn (child pawn user) to shut up. Anywho, finally a good storyline with potential for Ned, Olivia, Leo and Austin. I think Austin is being authentic and it has nothing to do with ELQ....Brooklyn needs to chill before he remembers it was her and Maxie he saw in the woods.

Quite an example of how to talk to parents. Though it's really hard at times, as some will just jump to conclusions, or just push back, insisting nothing is wrong. But this is where we have to communicate that the child is simply different and there's nothing wrong with that. Though some wish the doctor would just be more straightforward, the communication matters. The message is simply that the child is different and we need to work towards separating different from wrong. It's still hard, as this is still kind of fresh in terms of the vocabulary used. Communication is vital in order to fit in, and learning how to communicate with the child will help his/ her development. As Jessica McCabe from HowToADHD describes, all brains are different. Learning about how our brains work helps.

It's not so shocking that Britt and Jax have foreshadowed to what's happening between Jason and Carly when all these years of their dependent so called friendship, they've always had a not so normal relationship especially that what every women Jason's been with thought they had something special with him couldn't compete with him and Carly's dependency. It's no wonder why Maurice's dad hates Jason and Carly together, and I don't blame him.

He said the Same thing to Elisabeth. I really think the writers are rewriting history here. If he wanted Carly all this time and just surpress his feelings that’s crazy. I am sick of the Jason and Carly Wedding talk. This is a mess. They have know chemistry together as a couple. And when Sonny finds out he’s going to say that Carly and Jason Never Cared about him. That they always loved each other and he would be correct about that according to today’s episode.

I don't give Wally enough credit for his acting talent because he's so effortless in his roles. He's awesome and deserves accolades for the material he's given on DAYS and GH. He plays dual roles with popular characters on two different shows. Only a few actors can do it, such as Eileen Davidson DAYS/Y&R and the late Joesph Mascolo DAYS/B&B. Leo's SL is going to be poignant to watch.

GET RID OF "AUSTIN"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's trouble and will be WORSE than Jimmy Lee!!!!!! He is up to more than just being part of the family, he wants something more. He will hurt the Q's more than they really deserve!!!!! He is not right for the show. But good job on bringing light to Autism. But get Leo the help with SOMEONE ELSE!!!!! Austin has to GO!!!!
