Hughes' wealth fame and passionfor his work didn't drive him insane he was a gernaphobe and had ocd and it was untreated and enabled and didn't have anyone close that loved him unconditionally. He was surrounded by yes people. Its so sad because he was an amazing man

You use the same word too many times. You should only use the word "and" once in a sentence, unless you're referring to something like "chocolate chips and, Ben and Jerry's". Furthermore, you used the word between twice in a row. Between between does not make sense. I am "The Grammar Nazi". p.s. I just learned the word furthermore about 5 minutes ago. Sincerely, T.G.N.
@dyzzijohnson12807 жыл бұрын
The excessive use of the word "and" should be replaced with a comma.

Hey. radioactive since 1990. there is no connection between the environment, being rich, having private jets, mansions, and stuff. You are completely getting off of the topic. That is what you should have typed. The letter u is not a word. Furthermore, who is "The Point"? Is that just a stage name like "The Rock", and why does it bother you if someone is getting him/her off completely? Unless you are in a comitted relationship with "The Point" their sexual exploits should be of no concern to you. I am "The Grammar Nazi"!

The hypocrisy of this guy is unbelievable. He doesn't want you to drive a vehicle because of the emissions it puts in our air, but yet he'll make a movie about a billionaire that was the owner of TWA, which has thousands of planes and puts way more pollution in the air than the average man. His hypocrisy and leftist views are misleading. He flies all over the world polluting our air and he tells people that are driving big vehicles like a hummers that they are doing harm to this earth. One trip from LA to New York puts more emissions in the air than a Hummer does in a course of a year. The Aviator was a great movie. I just don't need a celebrities telling me how to live my life, especially if you are a do as I say not as I do hypocrite.

He always talks about the environment yet rides in private jets, yachts, and has a GIGANTIC mansion. There's no getting around that, it's hugely hypocritical, plain and simple. Typical "do as I say, not as I do" mentality.

So 'Global Warming' is 'gonna effect the world as we know it' now?? Meaning all that 'warming' will create record ice thickness (and record ice diameter) in Antarctica?? Hmmm. Or maybe making heavy snowfall a thing of the past (according to the UN)?? Whoops, there's not only been heavy snowfall around the world, but record snowfall in multiple areas. I don't dislike Leo (I actually think he's a terrific actor), but until he (or someone else) can dictate what the Sun will do, or if he can control how El Nino cycles occur, then stop spewing 'GW' nonsense, because it makes him (and others) look foolish.
@mikes38278 жыл бұрын
amanoncrack And the cycles of weather have nothing to do with Man. There have been multiple periods (e.g. Medieval Warm Period, etc.) which were much warmer than now, just as there have been cold periods (including record cold) that have occurred. Regarding quotation marks, you'll find that using ' or " is acceptable, such as speech within speech. You'll also find using ' in national media outlets to be quite common in quotations, as well.
@sciencelover75823 жыл бұрын
@@mikes3827 but for the past 10 years the cyclical nature of the changing weather pattern has broken, the temperature rose a lot more than what would have naturally occurred.

His biggest issue is the environment. Of course, he wants a clean ocean to drive his yatchs on. He needs clean weather for his mansion. I hate actors. Bunch of bubble living psychopaths.

@MrHEC38199110 жыл бұрын
Ok Marty made his money back - big deal - that's not what this business should be about. 1. Leo is a tool for international advertisement(seriously, who doesn't know leo dicaprio by now) and the luckiest guy in Hollywood. Imho he's only done two good film(This boys life and Basketball diaries) 2. Johnny Depp might have done a better job(he looks a bit like Hughes) 3. The whole scenario about Hughes going into hiding is something of a legend. No one really knows(especially in the year 2014) what really happened between his RKO days to the Spruce Goose days. 4. No one really knows what Howard Hughes was doing behind locked doors, only assumptions and fantasy stories, only talked about in whispers amongst Hollywood socialites. shiiit even Orson Welles couldn't get a hold of him for a decent conversation! Apart from that; I really liked the models and miniature effects Scorsese used in the film and the photography was nice. Other than that; doing a film about Howard Hughes today would be like doing a film about Ghengis Khan. History has many interpretations, especially about one man's life. But this film didn't cut it. AND by mistake, I mean he's turned Leo into his own Robert De Niro(only Bobby has more better films and performances under his belt than Leonardo. Titanic..that's all most people will remember him for)
@VeyLaren10 жыл бұрын
.... A mistake is something which the maker of it pays for..I don't think anything you have listed here actually can be called a mistake..the mistakes that you point out are just what you didn't like about Marty while many out there did. Aviator was an excellent film and I love it the way it is regardless of their personal historical interpretation in it. Leo is freaking amazing and most will tell you so regardless of you thinking that he only did 2 good movies. Turning him into Marty's own robert deniro was the perfect move he made because deniro himself recommended leo and he is this generation's actor!...Now you could have called it a mistake if Aviator failed in the box office, received very bad reviews and leo was panned by critics and fans alike for his performance. NONE of that has happened and it is only in your mind that leo isn't a good enough actor and aviator wasn't much good...So, I ask you again - what mistake did he actually make?
