I think they can design a skin before champs. And then Champs finish, just change the skin colour to the winner's colour. i think this could work

I think it releasing for next year champs can hype up champs more and there will be time to discuss the effects with the winning team and make minor changes behind the scenes on what theme they want and symbols that explains the narrative they went through the event and symbols or patterns that explain their journey or struggles to the top

i mean a skin for a team should more so be modeled based on the team ig, like a chinese team would be much rather off having a china themed skin or smthg not sure, prolly the reason fr a yr delay if they do come up with it

or all org submit a skin design during the offseason and winner of champs gets the skin in store

You realize they would either need to design a variant for every single team, or design them after the year is over, where the teams wouldn't actually get said skin for a minimum of 6-12 months+ after right?

@@hushu5310 Are you a game designer? Or do you just see blender videos of people in the community making skins, and assume that's all that goes into it? Designing the 3d model is not the only thing that goes into skin creation.

T1 was absolutely in the gutters when their world skin released this year but people still bought it. I don't think it being released a year later matter much since it's more of a commemorative skin to remember past winners anyways.

The problem is that the structure is in place and there would be multiple set of approvals, multiple set of changes from the team, from Riot maybe not a year but probably a few months is correct

league world skin typically 6 to 8 months after event n contain 6 skin. valorant skin is more easier lmao u can do it like -4 month

I saw something about overwatch taking a year for a skin too and they used recycles assets I need to get one of these jobs because the people working are clearly getting off on them cause wtf they doing for a year straight

@@playerowner1902 nah they already can use org logos in their game and on their websites it's probably him assuming that it's a full bundle with more than 3 skins, a finisher, sfx, unique animations, and unique model realistically though even a recolor would be fine if they wanted to give champ winners something like champs 2021 bundle took no effort but something like that would be enough to me

What if they use the Champs Vandal/Phantom and add color variants for each team that won an international trophy that previous year (ex. 2024 Champions Phantom with red(Sentinels), yellow(GenG), & black/white(EDG)?)

@@fr0ster0p They are talking about turn around time and how it would be extremely hard to quickly develop and release a skin for the winning champs team. You have to give some slack to the development team.
