Thank you! Very descriptive of my life, including the throat tightening. I’m a throat cancer survivor coming up on two years cancer free. The tightening happens when I’m stressed or have words I’m uncomfortable expressing as I have no desire to hurt others with blunt truth. After finding the correct verbiage the loss of voice disappears, and then I speak my truth. Started dating a few months ago, and feel I’m getting closer to finding the partnership I’ve been working towards. Each person puts me closer to what I’m looking for, and I find it easier to say “I don’t think we’re on the same page”, and move on forward without the angst of ending something that’s not meant to be.
