As a writer myself, and a Thalapathy veriyan, i can say the film wasn't done well. LEO character ku oru disturbed past kuduthurkalaam. Whenever parthiban fights you can see the evil in his eyes for a few seconds. Maybe if they had LEO tortured as a kid to bring out his violent nature and if they made LEO responsible in a way for killing some of his close ones because of his anger and because he lost control, that would have been a good reason for him to leave everything behind. Because Antony das and Harold killing his sister didn't invoke that emotional aspect. LEO himself should've been the ultimate villain, he should've been responsible (indirectly responsible) for the death of his loved ones because of his anger. Also, even though the hyena was cool with cgi n stuff, factually it is incorrect. You won't find a spotted hyena in India. I would've rather used a young wolf or something and the scene with vijay and the wolf should have been done somewhere in a forest without public presence. So the lies would've started from that point and more lies after the cafe fight would have made sense. I can keep going.... Even the end, instead of Vijay doing a varisu style singing and doing the idiotic usual crap he could've just killed Harold without saying anything but with his signature sleeve roller style. We as an audience would've known well. Or if you want a mass moment then thuppaki la solra maadhiri suspense le saavu da nu solli mudichirkalaam. I am deeply disappointed because Vijay is still lying to his wife about the character in the end. Adhaan sad part. Disappointed with the film. It should've been more grounded.
