Those are insane speed wobbles for how slow you are going bro. Can it even hit 60 mph safely?
@usm79247 күн бұрын
@@ScootaGang I hit about 77mph at least, every time I step on the deck. The wobbles happen when I let off the throttle at speeds greater than 50mph. I’m pretty comfortable now at controlling this beast at the speeds I ride. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to just anybody, though, so in that sense I guess I can’t say it can hit 60mph safely. But don’t call me slow, bro 😂

Nice "Beast Mode" ride!! I dropped the front tire pressure on my Apex to 28 psi, the rear to 30 psi, and set the rear Roxshock to it's softest setting. It gave me a little more stability up to 60 mph. I'm noticing that the PMTs have pretty limited contact with the road at higher speeds. When the power kicks in at higher speeds, the tires expand, and only a small middle section of the tire has solid contact with the road. When that small section of the tire run over an imperfection in the road, it creates a bouncy vibration. I'm getting much better at more stable rides on the Apex, but it requires making a few adjustments for better road contact. On my last speed run ride, I noticed that you could actually use increased speed to come out of a speed wobble as well because the Apex has so much power that it can literally pull you in a tight straight line with the right stance. I'm absolutely in awe with this beast of a hyper-scooter when it comes to that insane acceleration but caution is definitely a must. Great video, looking forward to more.

@@johnrichardson5089 Always great insight from you, brother. 🙏🏽 I also learned that you can stabilize wobble by adding throttle, but if it were a racing situation where you’re shedding speed for a corner, that technique would not be viable. I’m hoping the V3 front fork Matt said he would send me will help….I’m still on the original forks. I’ve also been talking to a carbon RION rider who believes that wind turbulence from the chassis design is the reason behind the instability. He recommends correcting this flaw in aerodynamics to resolve the wobbling issue. I guess we’ll see what ends up working.

@@usm7924 You are absolutely going to love the ride stability on the new forks. They are very easy to install also. The observation about the wind turbulence from the chasis design is more of a guesstimation, in my opinion. I think the real culprit preventing solid stability is the design of the neck that connects the fork to the deck. If that neck was completely thick solid cast iron, I believe the full stability would be unleashed. I noticed that you ride with your foot on this neck at higher speeds. I'm starting to be a little more cautious about doing high-speed runs at the risk that it could possibly snap from the constant wobbles that I've already experienced. So stay safe out there, Bro, and make sure you give the Apex a good pre-ride inspection for any damage in this area. The new forks will bring the front tire back by a few inches. It makes a huge difference, but tire pressure must be adjusted to avoid that bouncey effect I mentioned in my previous comment.

You are CRAZY bro fuel of passion!!!😂😂 You must be going around 50-60 miles all the road.. but these small wobbles that makes when you left throttle from 55-60 and up, cut my breath because I'm putting myself on you (understand what I want to say...)... Ok about steering damper... But since someone realise it, you can change the handlebar with bigger and play with suspension.... I had ride Rion (we have 1 in my country) and don't makes wobbles..🤔 The secret i believe is in suspension... Change the angle and the camber of scooter... 🤔 In the end Apex is a f@cknig magnificent Beast!!!😁🤩😘

@@antonypartali you’re right, another, those wobbles are crazy. I’ve learned to handle the scooter better since this video. these scooters just have air suspension in the back, so adjusting stance and weight distribution is the only way to counter the wobbles. appreciate the comment!

If you're uploading 360 video when you're just doing forward facing runs, the upload is not going to come out crisp and clean. This video on the tele looks extremely fuzzy and grainy. A simply 1080 upload in 50fps is all you need.
