Can you please explain what youre doing instead playing music on the next one? It really helps. Furthermore i struggle finding tutorials on how to make for example curly hair, not hair via curlnoise but hair that bends from bottom upwards at 3/4th length and then make a nice colorblend from blonde to brown. If you could use some ramps to teach us more advanced stuff, that would be nice. But please explain everything xD I'm trying to make insane hair for movies but ye. You know how rare these tuts are.

Hi, At 0:47, you assigned RedshiftHair to Renderman Settings. Do we have to install Renderman for asigning Redshift to Xgen? Thank you.

Hey, I actually just used the renderman setting tab as a shortcut to assign the material. But if you don't have renderman installed you can select the description from outliner. And assign a new material in hypershade

hi, i have been searching for lessons on how to animate xgen hair in maya but couldnt find a single tutorial that explains the workflow in detail. i dont know why my characters lose there animation whenever i attach xgen to my characters , please do us a tutorial on how to add exgen to an animated character in maya.

Yes of course. Just use Arnold or mentalray shader instead of redshift material
