This reading is sounding very familiar to me. After 7 years of him chasing me, playing games with me, leading me on, in and out behavior, love bombing me, acting like he cared and not acting like he cares, third party situation, and becoming best friends……he abruptly stopped talking to me 14 months ago. WTH? I don’t know why but I never saw it coming. No warning or explanation….he just vanished from my life knowing that I was in love with him and that he was going to hurt me…. He did it anyway. I was never looking for a relationship when I met him. I have been single for years (by choice) and I am independent and love my freedom. He charmed his way into my heart after I agreed to be friends with him. I knew he was in a relationship and didn’t know why he was so interested in me. I’m older than him. He has a family. Why was he chasing me? Ok…. I thought he must be a player. He acted like a player so I decided to test him to see if he was just looking for a hookup or what. He never went there in 7 years. I knew he got a lot of attention and seemed to love it. I got a lot of attention too but I wasn’t looking for it. It just surrounded me. I think I was a challenge for him. I let him know that I didn’t Need him. The chemistry was intense and I felt a Spiritual connection with him. He felt like home to me. There were definitely some red flags along the way but I ignored them. Oh, they were always in the back of my mind alright but he seemed so sincere. Hmmmm……unfortunately I did fall in love with him but that player thing was always in the back of my mind and even though I was in love with him…. I wasn’t looking for a relationship. It was like a platonic best friend situation. I tried to walk away several times because I didn’t want to be in a third party situation. I had been there before with my ex who was cheating on me for years but I finally got out of the relationship. I surely didn’t want to be a third party in someone else’s relationship. He wouldn’t let me go. So when he stopped talking to me over a year ago, I took it as a blessing in disguise. I forgave him so I could move on with my life.
