The problem with him is that he might have those wishes, ideas, desires, but he never expressed them or showed them, not verbally and not non-verbally. It's all in his head probably, and if he never expresses them I will never know. That way he keeps me guessing and makes sure that I'm stuck with him is not acceptable. He isn't honest. Besides that way, I also gave up many other options that could lead to happiness with other people. What he did express is very negative feelings, and hurtful actions. There's this huge discrepancy between what he wants, wishes and how he expresses them. The outcome is very destructive, toxic and hurtful to the point of traumatizing. For instance, he might want me but he tells horrible lies about me to everyone who's in contact with me so that everyone stays away from me, avoids me, that way he can have me all to himself which is possessiveness to a pathological degree. Another thing is that he is a master manipulator and he plays mind games and he also gives this strategic ignorance (silent treatment) so the only thing I can do is just withdraw and not pay any attention. Anyone would know that I loved him unconditionally, I cared, I trusted him, I put myself vulnerable towards him and gave him all I got, I was transparent, honest, always consistent and loving. But the way he treated me was inhuman. He was maliciously envious of me. That is pathological. So, I've cut my losses and told him I forgave him and I walked away to keep my own sanity. He is watching me, keeping an eye on me. He lives on the other side of town but I saw him in my street. He had no reason to be in my street.
