Aeon fans continue to ignore the fact that the relationship IS toxic--They may argue against it, saying it's wrong, but they are not gonna change our mind. Just think, if you were in Leon's place! The reason why the relationship is toxic unlike Leon and Claire is because Ada constantly love bombs him and then leaves and ignores him! That is manipulative and toxic to do. She should love him like she normally would, even because of her job-- Don't leave Leon hanging like that, it's wrong. People can argue about RE6, but she does the same thing! *Love bombing him and leaving!* Claire is a much better fit, she's caring, a hard worker and is strong. She's the kindest Resident Evil protangonist, she's also really good with children. (Unlike in revelations 2, what happened?) And for Leon, he is the most heroic protagonist of Resident Evil-- And Claire is his true partner, nobody can replace her. He can lash out on anyone, argue with them, proving his point-- But when he is with Claire, he is soft and gentle with her because Claire is his partner. That's what partners do, and that's what makes them perfect for a relationship with each other. Just watch RE Infinite Darkness, you can see his relationship with Shen Mei is much more different than with Claire. But honestly, if Leon and Ada do get together in the future, I'll handle it fine. I know Leon's love for Ada is confusing, at least for me. But the thing is, I am not ignoring Leon's love for her! I respect his love for Ada-- But if I was Leon, I'd really go for Claire. The question I've been thinking all day in my head when I think of Leon and Ada is why does Leon like her anyway? Because of a kiss in RE2? And she was hot? Maybe her cold, dimissive personality is just attractive for Leon. But it is clear he likes east asians, like he asked out Shen Mei in RE Infinite Darkness. Shen Mei has a much different personality than Ada. I think Leon prefers looks.
