Leon this is good but it is to hip hop for me like all the other music out there. I am so in love with your other songs and music like Coming Home, Lisa Sawyer etc. It is a style that you just do not hear and see much these days. The old music and videos are so classic and it fit with your great,great looks, and charm with your unique beautiful features and dance moves and so different than other musicians etc. I realize you want and need to try different styles to grow as an artist but you are just darn naturally talented and i just would like to see more of the old style. I want to be refreshed when i listen to music and your old stuff moved me to get up dance with my soul. I just wanted to share my feelings. Most of all Leon enjoy what your are doing. Actually he did this on purpose. Wanted to prove he was capable of more than just "60's soul music". He deliberately paid homage to 80's and 90's R&B because he wanted to go outside of what people thought he was, and I think it works beautifully. First of all, he's early enough in his career where we as an audience cannot determine what "his" sound is, only he can. Secondly, we cannot demand that an artist stay the same over time, because it's just not feasible. If he just made "Coming Home Pt. 2" he would have been criticized for lack of originality and creativity. I think this new album really shows what ELSE he's capable of stylisitcially, not just showcasing one side of his talent. If anything this album makes him a multi-dimensional artist and proves him to be extra-talented

Also sorry for the long reply- it's just a pet peeve of mine when people criticize artists for changing their sound up a little because it shows an obvious ignorance and blatant disregard for music as an industry and for the creative process. Artists should perform what they love because they love it; not just what we as an audience want them to perform just because we want them to perform it.
