FOR FANS WHO DIDNT KNOW... (soz i REALLY have to share this as a Cleon fan). I read somewhere a long time ago that Capcom pretty much created Steve for RE:CV to be with Claire as a replacement for Leon because fans missed Leon... So thaaaat means that Steve is only a substitute for Leon, MEANING that Claire is really meant to be with Leon o_o!!!! *taking the time to process this again and is extremely unimaginably happy*

Yeah... wish they'd just do something with these two, already (Leon & Claire). The idea of Leon chasing Ada in a game of "catch the spy" has dragged on too long to the point of stagnancy, imo. If little girls like Sherry can grow and progress her character/relationships, why can't these guys?

I like to think of it that way too. He... treats her differently compared to the typical 'flings' he seems to see most women as. That said he does seem to find her attractive, cracking such classic lines as, "they got the HOTS for you, huh?" (double entendre). And their final moments together in Degeneration do have... 'something' going on. But yeah, we can only hope. Sigh. :)

Yes, and stuff like this always irked me with Leon's "love" for Ada (and most videogame 'romances' in general). It all feels unnaturally fast, shallow, forced even. Tbh he BARELY even knows the woman... if at all. I could definitely see a Chris/Jill relationship working given all the bond they've had throughout the years. So does a story of Leon finding love in that one girl he could always trust with his back in desperate times. I just hope CC at least TRY before retiring these characters.

It just puzzles me why they keep adding new love interests for Leon after Ada. There's Ingrid, Ashley, Angela (easily forgettable), and now maybe even Helena. All this while knowing CLAIRE is the one many fans want! Sometimes I get the feeling Capcom's just trolling us on purpose. It certainly felt that way (for me, at least) after watching "Degeneration". to be honest when i first saw RE4 i've lost hope and just accepted that leon and ada will probably end up together, then i saw RED and the remake of the RE2 and REV on the darkside chronicles i was like there still maybe hope for them to get more closer to each other, and then i saw this videp its really inspiring almost make me think that there's still hope for this LeonXClaire thing :D but too bad claire aswell is not gonna to be in RE6 as well as jill maybe on the next series.

Honestly, i cant remember XD. It was years and years ago and i was younger then. But what i DO know is that, Capcom really DID intend to do that since RE:CV came after RE 2 and fans seems to have enjoyed Leon and Claire's partnership in RE 2, so yea, it resulted to Steve haha :). Thank you! I know the feeling - I LOVE this song ...ever since I heard it on Romeo + Juliet actually..but found it difficult to edit to as it's a pretty freaky song about stalkery love. Basically I had a pretty hard time with it because I love Leon/Claire, but the song demanded a kind of anti-ship video. And so I had to take liberties with the canon. Y'know... somehow I don't think Ada really cares all that much. She'll probably just shrug it off and say, "Pffft, oh well! On to the next sod..." Besides anyone with a good sense knows Ada is a no good "wife material". She uses people to get what she wants, a real cat-spy. She did it with that dude named John, who's to say she isn't really just messing with poor Leon? And you're right. Reality check proves long-lasting couples stem from bonds of real friendship, not bait+switch spy types...
