Leon is a very humble and cool dude. I saw him in 97 when I was working part time while in highschool at Pretzel Time at The Hartsfield Jackson Int. Airport. I was hand making and twisting pretzels with my head down, and I heard a voice, asking me, "Hello excuse me, do you know if there is a Starbucks here on this concourse?" I told him that it was a Starbucks on the other end of the course, and he said, "Thanks man." When I looked up I realized it was Leon and I was shocked because I thought it was just a random person. I should've asked him for an autograph but I didn't, but I did tell him that he's a great actor and I loved him in Above The Rim. He was gracious for the compliment and told me, "Thanks for liking my acting and my movies, thats very important to me." Never forget those words. Leon is good dude for real!

I saw Leon in Target at the Fox Hills Mall (now the Westfield Shopping Center) a couple of years ago. It was the holiday season and the store was crowded so I had to *squeeze* by him. 😁 He was tall and looked way younger than he is. You see everybody in L.A. In Target I’ve seen Leon, Wayne Brady, and Glenn Plummer. And that’s just who I can remember. At the Fox Hills Mall I’ve seen Leon, Tracy Morgan, Meagan Good, Tia Mowry just shopping. I saw Nikki Minaj there too, but she was making an appearance. Growing up in L.A., over the course of my life I’ve seen hundreds of celebrities just walking or driving down the street. I’ve seen some on the bus and one TV star who was down-on-his-luck was panhandling and asked me for money. 🙁
