Somewhere in the archives, I've got a Leon Redbone autograph. He introduced me to so many great old songs. (Diddy Wah Diddy, If We Ever Meet Again This Side of Heaven, Sweet Sue, etc). I feel the same way you do - don't know why I love him, but I do. I mean, playing SNL and coming out wearing a pith helmet, then doing a set with acoustic guitar and tuba...
