Stina did a very good job, she was a good listener, asked interesting questions, and showed a lot of curiosity about this man and his profound wisdom.

This man had a Scottie. He is by far my favorite writer and composer. I have had Scotties for 40 years. But this man should never have left this world, ever. Love you so very much, man!!! You've taught me so much through your writings and songs. ♥️🇦🇷 From Buenos Aires, Argentina.

My english lit teacher introduced me to Leonard in grade 7; Instant infatuation. Leonard spoke to my heart with his poetry, his beautiful melodies, crooning voice, charm, eloquent expressions of life, and wonderful humour. ❤️ Love him so. 🙏 Bless you Leonard for sharing your gift, touching hearts everywhere.

It has been a while since he left us...I don't try to follow too many things about him because it's just painful, to be reminded of our mortality and the way he embraced it, modeled it, explained it to us in such brilliant terms. But every time I sit down with him, with a drink companion on a KZbin video, I feel at ease and although the world right now is messed up (euphemism...) and shallow and headed for self-destruction, I like the way he got it, and the way he explained it to us.... I wish more people did. And I wish I could be more optimistic...

I am 60 born and raised by my stern German parents and the rest of my blood relatives. Manners was the better of it all .. In fact we couldn't talk unless spoken to it was all normal with us kids then I raised my 4 children with impeccable mannerisms but I wasn't as stern like my parents with other things ... I love life (most-of-the-time) lol

Leonard as a ladies man - a shallow stereotype and yet his songs do speak about the struggles of the heart. I think there is so much to LC that every one curious enough or with a sense of humour will be touched by him.

Don't get why so much hate against the interviewer. To begin with, this was part of a program for the mainstream media, so we shouldn't expect a "in deph" interview at all. Also this is Leonard Cohen, one of the most misterious men ever to be born. As a journalist myself I find it really admirable the way she confronts the interview. Cohen's great, as always.

Iago This common misconception that mainstream media needs mainly trash is the reason why ,for more than a decade, we gave up television altogether. Most educated families have long stopped being exposed to substandard language, lack of real information, lack of cultural value and , generally, brainwashing.

He says ‘it is unfair to present yourself with brutal honesty’, then she asks him to be brutally honest. He wants to be social, and his secret life is where he can be honest. In a social life of the interview he goes where she goes.

There is an interview done by another woman, where they talk about depression. She treats Cohen like a hostile obnoxious politician. The great man is truly great, very gracious throughout the whole interview. In this one, some questions could have been avoided, but, overall, I think it's ok.

He did not discuss his feeling with his parents "nobody was interested in his inner condition" this treatment of children creates depression as an adult, he was not allowed to be himself, or show himself, he was not accepted for who he really was.

‘Unfair to tell people how you are...’ 😢. I disagree up to a point and do not see it as self indulgent. ‘Secret Life’ is a brilliant and moving composition which underpins Leonard Cohen’s belief around this subject matter.
