We should learn from the past. Paul was given the exact pattern for the church and conduct of the Christians just as Moses was given the exact pattern for the tabernacle and the conduct of the Israelites. We must do church as instructed by Paul. Ephesians 3:9-10 says that Paul was chosen and given the revelation of the church, through Jesus Christ, and God's purpose is to use the church to display His infinite wisdom to the rulers in the unseen realm.
