He talks about the Welsh revival in an Incredible interview and it brings me to tears each time. Not worldly sorrow, that beautiful sobbing that happens when you are prostrate before the Lord. In absolute awe and terror of his perfect justice.

Another also influenced by Leonard Ravenhill was Dr. Michael Brown. Leonard Ravenhill came to the Messianic Congregation where Dr. Brown taught and spoke to the Congregation. We appreciated learning from Brother Ravenhill immensely.

Eighteen minutes or so into the sermon is a sad moment. He recounts how four different people told him that he was a Simeon and he would see the birth of "the baby" (that is revival in America) which he never saw. Breaks my heart. I understand that one of his sons said he died of a broken heart over America.
@stewartwicks82266 жыл бұрын
Simeon held Jesus as a baby in his arms but didn't see his adult ministry or witness His death and resurrection. I wonder if people like Carter Conlon and the Times Square Church (David Wilkerson) with all that's happening there with prayer etc and who knows who/what else Leonard Ravenhill saw birthed before he died, are part of what is going to be full blown revival some day soon.

Joseph Martin Lowsky well if its the Rick Joyner I’m thinking of, he is a false prophet anyway.

Well sir. I think many children were born between 1900 - 1994. God's ways are not our ways. The child of revival has been born. Perhaps he didn't see the child, but the child or children were born. And revival would start at the appointed time.

I just got to that part about it being prophesied, that he was Simeon, I'm not surprised it was wrong one of them was Rick Joyner, a false prophet. Sad to hear what his son said, bless his heart

Untrue sister, Paul said preachers are supposed to rebuke, which is to express sharp disapproval to someone about their behavior. preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2 God bless sister.

Everyday is a pagan holiday. To the pure all things are pure. Titus 1:15. This man clearly had a zeal for God. If you're celebrating Easter as the resurrection of Jesus and not as the pagans do then you are NOT taking part in a pagan holiday. God looks on the heart.

Romans 14:4-8 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
