Often the conversation comes up about the Shim Sham Shimmy and where that accent goes, and where step 2 starts. I thought it would be helpful to provide this video where I go over what Leonard Reed told me back in the 1990s about how all four moves (Shim Sham, Crossover, Tack Annie aka Tackie Ann, and Half Break) start on an upbeat and have the accent on the downbeat.
