I love QT’s connection of Billy Jack and Cliff Booth. It shows the depth of his storytelling even when it isn’t explicitly stated within the film.
@bztrd804 жыл бұрын
He usually writes entire fucking novels as the back story of each character and never films any of that. He wrote a whole entire chapter about the Cliff Booths incident on the boat and gave it to Brad. He also explains to all his actors very in-depth whatever they're mentioning in the dialogue, so when they're saying something they actually know what they're talking about.

[Ironic commentary for identity politics nuts. Stop censoring. There is an idiotic moderator who does understand sarcasm, mutes my point or flat-out ignores how identity politics and racial-driven Collider content has been lately, that is why the bullshit of what is “white” enough according to American standards needs to stop, right now]. The “American racialist eye” throughout history: Out of the 5 director nominations, at first sight, apparently only one went to a “purebred” Anglo-Saxon, Todd Philipps. Tarantino is Italian (Latin), Scorsese is Italian (Latin), Sam Mendes is half Portuguese (Latin), and then there is the Korean director of Parasite. Tough for the 18th century “real” white people. Oh, wait, Todd is also Jewish, whom, together with the Irish, were not considered really white either in some periods American, before they were “promoted”.There’s your diversity right there! Different shades of white, just as Hispanic Antonio Banderas.
