Yes, he did start off as a pretty boy actor but what i am acknowledging is his choice at a young age to not go for the easy cash grab pretty boy movie roles he was offered and choose to go for more unique and demanding films. You think he got to where he is today just by his looks? Not since titanic has he had a role where hes needed his young boyish look. Mostly all have been for the complete opposite actually and his talent as an actor is the only reason people have respect for him to this day. My reply was in regards to your comment stating that people are shallow for admiring his youthful good looks while he doesn't care about his looks at all. This is problematic because 1) a big reason he entered the Hollywood scene was because of his good looks (just like his fellow actors) so they were (and still are) a big reason for his success and 2) he is a shallow person himself, which can be seen in his choice of women. Yes he's hot. Yes, he's a gorgeous human, but there's something about him that makes me love him More than his looks, I do love him for his acting and how respectful and a gentleman he is too, but something in him shines and makes me fall in love with him deeper than I already am( which I don't think it's impossible, but it's happening ). From the age of 16 to 41 he's still has a that effect on me and it's beautiful. I'm in love with this amazing, and beautiful gentleman. Leonardo.
