The Basketball Diaries is a big reason why I’ve never touched drugs in my life. I watched it when I was 15 and I also thought, “Why would I start doing something that causes so much misery?” It was a powerful movie.

Basketball diaries..... as a young boy I watched it and I remember thinking.... just stop doing it. Just stop taking it. It seemed so simple as naive little boy watching it. I didn't even know what the movie was going to be about. Fast forward, I grew to understand why they didn't just stop. Eventually I did though almost 17 years ago now. There are 3 kinds of people who will watch this. The young naive kid, the people old enough to understand what they are seeing, and then the people who have lived it. I have watched it from all 3 perspectives. Its a powerful movie and it's portrayed scarily accurately . There are scenes that literally cause me actual heartache to watch because I am seeing it as myself and how I effected the people I used to have who cared about me. It's a movie every kid around 12 or should watch with an older person around to explain it to them . At the time I 1st watched it my parents had just split and I was mad at mother for what happened and stayed with my father. He was getting heavy in to some bad drugs and left us on our own..... my older brother and I .... I watched the movie. I watched it happen to my father, I felt the effects it has.... hungry, cold no heat, no one to turn to because you love your parent and you know its illegal and you think why don't he just stop. . . Then I still made the same mistake myself . I allways gotta learn the hard way. It's scars that never truly heal. All of it...... it made me a better person but it really means nothing in the end because good people don't get a trophy, no reward. We aren't guaranteed a happy life, or someone to love. We just carry on and continue to do on to others and work hard and we play the cards we are dealt. Anyone who watches this movie, or happens upon this comment and is struggling remember. You know what the right choice, it isn't ever the easy choice, the only reward is you don't have to be sick and tired of being sick amd.tored anymore. You may struggle just as bad while sober, and feel just as low as when you wete an addict, or.your life may change completely for.the better. It doesn't matter, all that matters is that you aren't hurting yourself , family , and friends anymore . All you can do is be the best to yourself and everyone around you as you can. If your like me then dont pity yourself. It was still thr best choice you ever made. Sometimes it isn't about what we get out of the deal, it's about how we effect thr people around us in a positive way now. You never know who's watching you and wanting to be like you, and now if a young kid looks at you and wants to be like you then you have impacted them positively when the old me..... you. ...... people like us could have accidently influenced the birth of another person who will have to learn the hard way

No such thing as in male poet never trust a fruit with a pencil and. She is the created the ninth who spoke the word and the word made flesh. Her body is the natural environment of all the laws of the artist in her agency. Anyone who did any work for a few Madame years is a fluke going through some hormonal changes . The facts in this industry just make Heroes out of people who are just that for political reasons. They love irrational gay men with their war on women did they glorify self-created self-indulgent completely avoidable problems like drugs. Making Interview with the Vampire they want to make the villain the more interesting and the victim less either way they like to switch the role of a good person and bad person.
