Shredder did come back, after getting his 'cheeks-clapped' in that first issue. I didn't read this arc but I always saw Shredder as some what smart &cunning, he was never a genius but he regularly allied himself with power people. And did business w/ those that could help him further his own plans or give him power, he wasn't on that Tony Montana; it's me against the world 'F' everyone. But it sounds like this Leo plot was more about how dope his lover the Rat-king's sister is, smart to have the long term goal of getting Karai even more on his side. This whole elder-gods business sounds kool &if there's a mini about Rat-King and his sister I'd love to read that 4sure

I always look forward to national TMNT day. Leonardo and Raphael in the comics have become foot clan members in the comics. Raph even took over as the shredder.

Thank you for covering this arc. It's one of my favorites in the IDW series. There's also the Deviation story where Shredder turned all the turtles. It's a one-shot, but I still liked it.
