Leonardo - Omas Energy Saving Roller Mill

Thanks to the permanent magnet torque motors Leonardo recovers the energy resulting from the motor on the slow cylinder. The fast motor instantly uses this energy, thus requiring less electrical power from the network.
Leonardo gives the possibility to manage and adjust each grinding cylinder independently, allowing to vary the milling ration and cylinder speed almost instantaneously. This option provides a unique flexibility to the miller in terms of recipes and product quality.
Finally, this “plug and mill” roller mill allows to save space, as it does not require the motorization floor: the motors are directly coupled on the cylinders, reducing construction costs and time. This also means more machines in equal space, in case of motorization on the same floor.
