just pinning the waist? try working that position against any top featherweight at adult division. Granted cascao was being conservative, but hell, he was ahead so why does he have to rush and lose a superior passing position?. And credit to Marangoni, he had an excellent frame and posting on the elbow. But he was more on survival to prevent the pass. Had Marangoni been sloppy or gave up, he would have been passed or had his back attacked.

@@Giorgos78GR I suppose everyone is entitled to their opinion. What did you think of the back take at the end? Granted no points were scored cause of time regulations, and hooks not fully secured. Looked pretty good to me though. But I suppose a more powerful fighter using his power, and fear. Gabriel is also a class act mind you. He actually helped Cascao on a following match that same day. Lots of mutual respect from both these athletes.

@@jonlau7937 as you said the back take was no points. Also it was the conclusion of the desparation last moments try. The guy didn't atrack the hole match. Also maragonni made the move the last moment knowing the opponent wouldn't have time to subbmit him. If you like this bjj its ok by me
