Being a massive Potterhead, Alan Rickman was my idol. Everyone knew how much I loved him, my mum even bought me a photo frame with a picture of him in it as a joke present. When I found out I was in my psychology class (all of whom knew my love for Alan) and I literally just broke down crying. I am so grateful in the fact that when my teacher and class mates discovered why I was crying, they all gathered round hugged me and we spent the last 10 minutes of the lesson watching all of Snape's scenes in Harry Potter. All of his performances were completely astounding and his portrayal of Professor Snape was nothing short of flawless. You will be greatly missed. Moving onto Bowie. He was truly an amazing human being in which we were blessed to have on our earth. He taught me that it was okay to be yourself and that you shouldn't care about what others think of you. Bowie brought me out of some very dark times and helped me to stop hiding behind my conformity to society and to show my true self and stand out. Thank you so much to the both of you, I know I am insignificant in comparison to the whole fandom but you both taught me to love myself for who I am, to not judge others for who they appear to be, to help others even if they are unkind as they may be suffering and to accept myself and not hide.
