It's a direct reference to Matthew 14:28-29. And it mentions the Holy Spirit about 1000 times. Sure it may be a bit repetitive, but it's a wonderful song asking for the Spirit to lead us into greater faith. You don't have to like the song, but if that's your only objection, take heart!

It turns the story of Peter walking on the water into a metaphor for the christian to trust Christ during their troubles. "There I find you in the mystery" refers to the earlier line "you call me out upon the waters" which means that when the person is walking on the water they find Jesus there, even though they dont fully understand how or why. "Keeping eyes above the waves" refers to when Peter took his eyes off Jesus, and began to look at his circumstances he couldn't walk on the water anymore, and began to drown. @@BurntBeatz Actually using the word "Mystery" isn't too uncommon in the Bible. Paul's letters specifically mention the whole story and character of God as a "Mystery" a few separate times. It's a really good word for it, too. Christians aren't just called to be good people. We're called to fully lean onto God. For our finances, our minds, our futures. Then the Christian will be able to slowly see where God wants to lead them through life, and then God reveals his character to that Christian more and more. God's movement is very tangible and always good, but also super mysterious. It's flipping awesome.

@Francisco Rodriguez-Sanchez there is a difference between receiving the holy spirit and feeling his presence. In this video you can tell that his spirit is responding to the holy spirit's presence that is being welcomed by the words of the song. In worship we invite the presence of the Lord to come and visit with us so we can pour our affection on him and so he can move in our hearts. Its a tangible presence, and even if you are not a believer, your spirit will still respond. When you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, you are correct in saying that you must first receive Jesus christ as lord and savior. Once you have been cleansed and made whole by him, he wants his spirit to come and dwell within you so that he can have a closer connection with you and so that you can operate in power and authority in the spirit world. Having the Holy inside of you creates a direct link between you and God and he becomes your conscience and leads you. The main sign that you have received the baptism of the holy spirit is that you begin to speak in tongues. Speaking in tongues is a gift from God that allows you to communicate directly to him and is a powerful tool to recieve information as well as to build up your spiritual authority.

@Francisco Rodriguez-Sanchez speaking in tongues should be an essential part of every Christian's walk with God, but just because someone doesn't it doesn't mean they are going to hell or not a Christian at all. In the new testament Jesus speaks to his disciples about how after he died and rose again that he would give them the gift of the holy spirit. Even john the Baptist said that he only baptized with water, but he was preparing the way for jesus who would baptize with fire. After jesus ascended to heaven, after his death, his followers were gathered together worshiping God and praying together when they all began to speak in tongues and flames of fire appeared over their heads. This was the first baptism of the holy spirit. After that point, all the followers of Jesus were given the power to lay hands on the sick and see them healed, and even cast out evil spirits. Basically its not mandatory, but if you want to be closer to God and want him to use you in a mighty way, it is something you should be seeking. I pray in tongues every day because the lord shows me things and shows me how i should pray in English as well. Personally, it happened to me when i was 5 years old. My little brother and i were playing church one night and i wanted to be the worship leader, we put on a tape that had worship songs on it and the presence of the Holy Spirit actually showed up. I felt such a love and adoration for Jesus and i felt his love and i started to cry because he loved me so much, next thing I knew i was praising him in another language. I went and told my parents what happened with tears in my eyes and asked if we could please pray for my brother so he could get it too! Lol. About a week before this happened i had a dream that jesus came to me and told me i would speak in tongues.

I USED TO HAVE SUPER BAD ANXIETY. It was horrible. I had it for about 4 years. I would overthink things all the time, I was scared to raise my hand in class to answer a question because I was scared to be judged, I couldn't even talk to a girl one on one because I was so anxious! I wanted to be in theatre because I liked acting but I didn't want people to judge me in a bad way for getting into theatre and being some "weird theatre kid". I never went to church, I never really believed in a god, I just did my own thing. And my life was MISERABLE. I would get suicidal thoughts, but I never attempted to do it. Then one day in 2018, my friend invited me to a Bible study at our high school. I thought about it and decided to go and check it out. And on October 9, 2018, my LIFE was changed forever. I don't remember what the person talked about at the Bible study, but I remember leaving the classroom so happy and excited to come back the next week. So I started to go to the Bible study every week and begin to learn about God. The real and living God of the Bible. After a while my friend invited me to his church and I started to go and learn even more about God and have friends to talk about God too. My anxiety started to fade away, but I still had moments where I would have anxiety attacks and freak out. And by the way, it was easy to HIDE my anxiety. So you might have someone in your life that is dealing with anxiety and you don't even know it. That's why we need to check up on our friends and actually ask them how they're doing. Going back to my story, over the summer I went to this huge church conference and on the last night, the preacher said "if anyone's going through anything, I want you to come to the front and ask God to heal you" and I remember I went to the front and I got down on my knees and I cried out to God and I said, "God, if you're actually real, if you can actually heal me of my anxiety, SHOW ME." And right after I did that, I heard GOD for the first time. And He told me "I've healed you from your anxiety right now, and it's not going to come back." And after that happened the preacher said "If anyone got healed, I want you to come up onto the stage and tell everyone" and I didn't even think about it. I went up onto the stage and told about 900 people that God had healed my anxiety! And my anxiety HAS NOT come back, and I know it never will again because that's who God is. He is the God of healing. The God of miracles! He saved my life! And He's calling you today. Jesus LOVES you and He died for YOU. You can get right with God TODAY and get saved. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 that "whoever confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead shall be saved". It's not about working your way to heaven. Thank God it isn't because there is no way we could ever work our way into heaven! It's about believing in Jesus, believing He died on the cross for you and accepting Him into your life as your Lord and Savior. Well if I am being honest with you the scripture you quoted has nothing to do with this video or God's spirit moving within or amongst us. Go and read John16:8, the spirit of God convicts us, it can move even an unbeliever without them know what is evoking the emotions within them and the bible states that God inhabits in the praises (songs, worship) of His people, why is it so wrong to believe that God's spirit would move someone listening to a worship song?... if you are a Christian I would be mindful of being scornful, you know what the bible says about sitting in the seat if the scornful.
