That "to be continued" ending **chef's kiss** I love your videos. They help me be productive in my own projects after watching them a few times. Keep up the good work. And I really wish I can buy more Swarovski crystals for you. Again, I love your work and the time you take to provide high quality details. Mercury looks like a walking waterfall with the details you provided. ❤️

Hey Leona I think I found out the situation with those Swarovski crystals!!! I believe the reason why you have to order them the way you mentioned is because this company called Urban Blung bedazzles louis vuittons famous pumps and shoes with those specific crystals. I'm not entirely sure it this is exactly the reason but I feel it contributes to it. So yea 🤷 Also you did So fucking amazing with your work you never disappoint it's beautiful 👏👏👏 bravo!!!

Can I just say how much I appreciate that you're doing red petals on ALL the figures, instead of making them match their colors? (Like pink for Serenity, red for Mars, blue for Mercury, etc.) It ties all of them together and makes them look like a cohesive unit and it's just . . . *chef's kiss*

Hey there, regarding the Swarovski conundrum; they are still making and selling them, it's just under a different name. The company is called Preciosa and the crystal quality is just as good as Swarovski is. Having worked retail for Swarovski for a number of years my best guess is that executives got tired of other people making jewelry with their name instead of purchasing their designer jewelry, resulting in a net profit loss. Because they're gross like that. With selling the product under a different name, they hope to drive up their sales because people can't claim things are made with "Genuine Swarovski Crystals" anymore. Anyways, I hope you see this message and I hope it helps you out, as your pieces are stunning and only perfection will do.
@iisjah3 жыл бұрын
Preciosa is a different company that created crystals alongside Swarovski for many years. It's based in Czechia not Austria like Swarovski. As for Swarovski, yeah, they decided they don't want to 'cheapen' their jewellery brand with 'swarovskis on cheap tshirts' so decided to pull all the Swarovski elements out of the market and concentrate on their 'luxury' jewelley brand instead (like people will want to pay so much money for glass instead of real gems pf))
@rebeccaabram23123 жыл бұрын
To add to this Fire Mountain Gems in the US is one of the few outside distributers and can provide crystals on a limited basis. They also have a good selection of other crystals that can be used for the other Princesses.

Thank you for a great video, you always manage to make me laugh as well as amaze me with your talent. I like that you kept the roses red for Mercury (even if I think you will get a lot of comments asking why you didn’t paint them blue) as this unifies all the senshi princesses all together. The shot of Serenity, Mars and Mercury side by side at the end was so satisfying. Do you use reference of the actual planets when painting the planets on the frame ? I did not notice for the moon and mars (cause, duh, white-ish and red-ish is pretty universally recognised for those two) but I had a moment there asking myself if mercury the planet was really blue or not.... Whether you do or not the back frame is glorious !

Re-watching this video (for, like, the fifth time), I thought of something when you got to the point where you were talking about the putty being visible in the hair when looking at it from the underside. I wonder if you could apply a similar technique to the one used to make the petals and other details show through the clear back frame--lay down paint inside the hair piece at the bottom where the putty would show through, then apply the putty for the proper fit? I know it would likely compromise the bonding of the putty, but if it's only painted at the bottom, the putty should still get a good hold in the rest of the notch. Ah, the random thoughts that plop into my head when watching videos just before bedtime...
