Thomas Miller is right the Avon stuff works and strangely enough so does tumble dry sheets the ones like Bounce ones. Dont by them ones though get the cheap ones like Morrisons about £1 for 60 sheets. All you do is lightly wipe one on exposed skin and put it in your pocket. You won't get bitten by mossi's or horse flies. I used to get hammered by them but not anymore, I also hang one in the brolly as its open fronted on one of the ribs. It sounds daft but works I use them in France and so do my mates now although they thought I was taking the P**s first time round. Give umm a try as the dont have any DDT etc in them they don't taint your hands when handling hookbaits etc. Tight lines Fella.

Do you ever fish deep waters or avoid them? Lakes I fish a deep natural lakes pretty silty little or no weed depths down to 50-60ft most swims probably into mud teens
