Funny. I thought this song was simple until I started listening to you explain it. Excellent job Sir.

Hey Leon, I played that song in a band in the mid '70s, but I probably didn't have it down as well as you do. I enjoyed this video and I like that 335.

Howdy Henry. Yeah man, I tried playing back then too and boy...I could never get that rhythm part right (let alone all those changes, lol). Much respect for Al McKay and Johnny Graham! Thanks for stopping by Henry and for the kind words.

Thanks for the lesson Leon! I came here from your GA-40 amp build video. I have a collection of Gibson and Ampeg amps from their "golden era (~1955-1964). I've become infatuated with electronics and tube amps, so I'm building a tweed Princeton in a couple weeks, taking an amp building class locally since I'd probably not do it otherwise. How did you learn to build amps, all by yourself using the internet...? I've watched many online amp tech videos, regularly follow a few channels, especially like Uncle Doug and Lyle at "Psionic Audio". Your GA-40 sounds authentic, congrats on nailing that tone! Are most of your amplifiers homemade, or do you have some favorites you bought...? Liked and subscribed, thanks again..............cheers!

I learned basic electronics on net and by reading a few different books, including Dave Hunter's Guitar Amp Handbook. I worked for Fred at Div/13 for a year or so and learned more basics construction stuff and developed some decent soldering skills there. Then I developed friendships with techs and builders who knew a lot more than me. My favorite amps include one that I made and a number of classic Fenders, Valcos and my Red Plate Blackline. Thanks for stopping by!
