Some players are just allergic to specific players. One can be a world number 1, but if he is allergic to a specific world number 100 play style, world number 1 will also lose. Jun Hao is leading h2h against Koki (4-1) as of today. Koki struggles so much against LJH probably because of his speed, power and defense. But LJH never win once against LZJ (LZJ leading 3-0 against LJH). But LZJ also never win once against Koki. So what should someone do to overcome this allergy? One should change the play style depending on who you face. But basic strokes and movement must be strong and consistent so you can adapt easily. Look at Axelsen for example. His defense and attack are very solid as of today. This is why he rarely loses to lower ranked players. One day LeeZiiJia will find his way to beat Koki. As of now, he should just focus on his next opponent.
