That demo riff you sometimes play...tutorial please. It would be good for practice as it covers the fretboard.

I'd love to see something in the vein of the " Fun New Bend/Tap Idea" video you made a few years ago. Or combining tapping/sliding/bending.

I like the gear videos, but these sort of videos really help me a lot more with my playing and practice strategy. I hope you keep these going. Cheers! :)

Fantastic, thanks for this one. I do sports training and very similar to this, I seem to perform better after warming up and becoming slightly "tired" (read relaxed). I suffer from the lazy first finger and this is makes it tired enough that I have no choice but to relax.

Every video promises if you do this it will change your playing. Perhaps for some at given levels and I get you need the marketing aspects. I will say this one acutally DID! Worked on this for 2 nights and all of sudden licks that felt fast are weirdly feeling slow and not even just legato licks. The first finger feel is huge improvement! Thank you!!!!! Watch the more indepth lesson meantioned too.

I always wondered why your left hand looked so relaxed…. & now I know. Thanx Leon.

Natural compression with tones like this (or with compressor) seems necessary. I'm trying to do it on acoustic, lol. Requires picking on every string change at least, which is missing the whole point. This lifting the first finger thing is great though, and in addition it takes the burden off the pinkie having to perform a pulloff in this particular lick.

Great tips. Not anchoring my pointer finger has already help loosen up my right hand

Duuude, lovin these lessons & tips, thank you! Unfortunately my hands & nervous system have been through a lot & I am older, struggling with finger movement & coordination but this could really help retrain my hands - thank you!! Hope you’re well btw

Thanks mate! I watched the Kiko video as well, very eye opening. Sometimes you just have to hear and see a method that others use to have that light come on. A different perspective to a technique! Gotta keep the eyes and ears open and keep learning 🤘

Wow! Practise ideas techniques are very welcome nice one on legato. How to keep your wrist more relaxed which is crucial thank you so much for this! I tend to have a nice big dollop gain in the past I found and also now if you hover over certain threats you can get some lovely harmonics bringing out all over experiment. Explore improvise to your heart's content. God bless!

That’s how I learned to play fast, as my picking has never been great. With a moderate amount of gain I don’t need my picking hand for a whole solo 🤷♂️

*I feel like I'm the world's laziest shredder lol.* I can learn any pieces of material but won't. I can compose my own fantastical material but don't. I learned a few dozen songs 30 years ago that I long since forgot, but I can still grab the guitar and shred at a level that convinces anyone whether a guitarist or not that I must be so very hard working and committed lol. *Where I align with you players who are more serious is if I live to 90 years old, I want to be able to shred at 90 years old.* It seems specific exercises and recording composed material is the best course of action to achieve that desire. *Your videos never feel like I'm being led into someone trying to promote gear or sell guitar lessons.*
