I don't have all those presets on my H9 Max stuff, but that bottomless drop is there, sick LOL. I finally got a second H9 so Max x 2, plus a Timefactor. All looped through an Eleven Rack controlled by a FCB1010 with EurekaProm 3.2. Really starting to actually enjoy mucking around on an electric guitar again for the first time in decades. iPad at ready for all 3 Eventide Pedals, just need to hook the Eleven rack up to cheapie laptop for control next.

I use these pitch effects in my Axe-Fx. I've been waiting for this effect in pedal format for years. Chorus without oscillation. It's even effective in Mono. It makes your guitar almost sound double tracked. Can't wait to add one of these to the board of my non-modeling rig.

Interesting that they added the envelope modulation. Otherwise, I’m still quite happy with the used PitchFactor I got for much less than a new MicroPitch that does that algorithm and much more. A nice thing about the single algorithm releases is that the new videos give a person ideas of how to get more out of stuff they already had. I have not taken this algorithm seriously enough as a dual delay. Deep algorithm I have in a very deep pedal.

Very Nice Pedal , and a good demo from you as well . As of now my budget is rehearsing (simulaneously) with 3 amplifiers at our studio( two EVH 50 watt / one JC 120) and a few high end effect pedals for each , One which includes my recently purchased MICROPITCH. My stage rig (for now) Is a EVH 50 wt combo / with a one 12inch seperate cab for a dual mono effect sorta.We are no-where big time local band in our small town , but we ARE THE ONLY band that plays all original music. One day I hope to understand the MIDI WAY, and go that route. Till then this will have to do.I enjoy all your vids on the many differnt pedals/racks/amps ect. on the market. Great demo! I like to PLAY my effects, when applicable. This thing does that amply, though I’m still getting used to it. I like to run stereo amps for spread, imaging, which this unit excels at. It’s like an instant acid trip, the lush modulated echos are near limitless in potential. With a warm, chimey clean sound, it becomes a profoundly immersive sound tool. Yet with a distorted, detailed sound, one can thicken, flange, chorus, Leslie, add depth, detail, color. I look forward to adding the tools to fully utilize this device. Because of its flexibility, it could add tremendous functionality to a home studio setting. Perhaps some of the other similar Eventide models would be worth a good demo. Cheers!

I'm wondering if I can use this pedal to emulate Mick Karn's fretless bass tone with Japan and Gary Numan in the 80s. Mick used to record two identical tracks and then hard pan them. It caused both stereo widening and a subtle chorus effect because no two performances on fretless are exactly the same pitch or time no matter how good you are. It would be awesome to be able to do this live.

A TRS to dual TS cable for the input could do it.

Would I be better off running this in front of my Axe 2 FX XL+ or running it in the effects loop? 🤔

Hi Leon. Thanks for the vids. Quick question. Recently picked up an yngwie strat that came with 7’s on it. Was curious how heavy you go on strings for yours? I’m used to heavier strings but this is my first scalloped neck and not sure how heavy I should go. Thanks.

Ygm plays 8s...i play nines, they make 7s but they are very different metals to be able to be effective for 15 or 20 minutes of hard use. 9s seem to be bendable and hold up for a week or more, just my observation. 9s work better when you drag your strat across the top of a monitor, if you are trying to do the yng whey thing...lol. Those 7s will tend to detune just from finger weight on the scalloped neck, try playing a note with the old tuner hooked up and you can damn near bend an octave just by finger pressure alone.

Ok SO I INSTANTLY went and ordered this straight after watching this video lol 😆 just wondering which presets are yours as that library looks REALLY extensive on the editor. As soon as you played the No More Tears riff I KNEW I had to have this! If you could let me know I'd appreciate it mate!

Leon how do the sounds compare to the Eclipse? I never liked my H9s compared to my Eclipse but wondering if this pedal would give me Eclipse sounds on my pedalboard especially if I combined it with a Blackhole.

Other than physical knobs and a sweet red enclosure, did you notice anything about the sounds/capabilities that would be different from the MicroPitch algorithm on the H9?
@EventideAudio
@EventideAudio 3 жыл бұрын
The MicroPitch Delay pedal is the same algorithm as in the H9, but the standalone pedal includes positive and negative envelope modes for more expressive control of the pitch modulation.
