you will suffer alot in the beginning, i recomend using increased shell resistance in the beginning, better armour.. well, i still use it

Another setup (for open maps) you guys can use is: Improved Ventilation (Bond Ventilation for maximum value) Low Noise Exhaust System (Bounty Exhaust for maximum value) Commanders Vision System (in boosted scouting slot coming from the field mods for maximum value) Helped me get my 100% MoE on Leopard 1 not having to rely on my scouts being able to spot for my Team and myself if needed! Stumbled upon this video wanting to watch some big Leo 1 games on YT and this is actually a great video for beginners keep it up man! :)

Agree with max the stabs are a must in the PTA, seems you’re always moving and shooting trying to carry at the end and it helps, now if it would only improve the low rolling alpha I’d buy 2.

My second load out (for the leopard1 and pta) is as a scout for those tier 9/10 games where the map is suitable and no lights are on the teams...

Leo isn't a scout. It's a damage dealer.

@@MaxGamingFPS It depends on your perspective. I see T10 often needing a scout to win. It has view range, camo, speed and armour like a light and a gun which is not... When the time comes it works. As for damage, yes I can join in after the spotting is done... :)

A very helpful guide, as always, and well-timed. I just added the Leopard to my garage as my fifth tier 10 just at the end of the top of the tree event. On that note, since the T110e4 and French medium are top of the tree at the moment, have you given thought to updated vids on those vehicles as well? I'm considering going for the E4 as such, though I'm not sure if it's worth it even right now.

Any discounted tier 10 is worth it when it's top of the tree.

Just noticed bond rotation is also available, and if you buy the new GSOR on some packages you can get 10 tokens, added to the 38 that seem to be available. You can also buy the GSOR multiple times and get gold compensation, but still get the points, so bond equipment is now officially on sale for cash!

I can't believe you didn't survive the ramming char futur 4. You had nearly twice his hp, weigh 13000kg more and had hardening! Seems more like one of my Leo games

i understand the point having HP, but i think it would be fair to mention a possible secondary equimpment setup for leo 1, that is CVS, vents/optics and exhaust. i know, some will kick me for this, but the primary will work even if you would want to take HP, but having a full spotting setup will help so many players regarding the marks. and, yes, i know, it does not fit your style, but still, it works on open maps oh so well.

Nice guide, the only thing I would've changed for the "city/brawler" setup is stabilizer instead of vents. As for the field mods, I don't pick any for the 3d mod , just don't wanna loose 2 km/h reverse speed, because it's quite helpful

The gun mantlet and the turret roof are very trollish when hull down and I tend to bounce a shot or two every game off of them.

You forgot you can mount CVS on a Leo. It helps with spotting for yourself

I have big problems with Leo 1. For some reason I do not hit fully aimed shots and if I hit them, I do not penetrate. I do not penetrate sides and even rears of tanks. And this happens even if I fire gold. With Udes 15/16 , Rinoceronte and 121 this does not happen to me and I have above 5k games quite often, but with Leo I have problem having 3k.

DM23 in this game is apcr but in war thunder it’s APFSDS that is confusing

tbh exhaust is better than imoroved aiming cuz it improves the camo that the leo needs a sniper and improved aiming even bounty ones improve it for like .002 which doesnt rly help

It really doesn't need more camo than it already has. And if you use the DPM field mod with IAU you are getting DPM for free.

@@MaxGamingFPS yeah but that extra accuracy is overkill,its still up to rng if u hit or not while camo allows u to play in bushes more safely,almost light tank amounts of camo when stationary

A question I don't know the answer to - I have the PTA and I am on the last perk for the loader and once she is fully trained does the crew xp get distributed to the other three? I have unlocked the Leopard 1 and have played one game simply relocating the PTA crew for the time being. At some point I will bite the bullet.and retrain the crew but there is.just something so nice about tier 9!

I don't know if once you have all the crew skills on one person, if the leftover XP goes to the other crew members. It would make sense that it would.

I literally want to spike my mouse in the end zone when I actually get my normal alpha damage, am I mental or am I the only one that low rolls alpha damage 90% of the time? Have hp you’re always a contender though to carry in this tank, though I do prefer the PTA.

I feel you with the rng bro last night I fired 2 shots on the back of a B.C. that was stationary and it freaking bounced twice.. What really made me rage was the fact that he was only like 30 meters away.. 😮😮😮😮

Hey man. Could you check the cammoflague field mod for the Leopard 1 again? I believe the 3% of concealment that it adds is to the actual percentage cammoflague value, eg. Say the Leo has 30% cammoflague, with the field mod it's 30.9%. It's definitely worth checking as if this is the case, it's definitely worth taking the extra reverse speed, but perhaps I'm mistaken. This could be for the tank destroyers that get the extra concealment with firing that has a negligible bonus.

It adds 3% camo, as the field mods says. 30% + the field mod = 33%

Max your videos are spot on and so well done...your product has really improved so great job! Also your gameplay is reaching a new level...damn good! On the tanks I did not like the Indien-Panzer (very average) but really love the PTA...it def has way more dispersion than the Leo1 and as I mentioned to you I did buy the Leo1 last month during top of the tree. Looking forward to getting it set up very soon and will incorporate all your suggestions here. Question for you...really haven't used any of the Field Mods for my tanks. Am I missing out big time in terms of the benefits that they provide? Also, on an unrelated topic...I have up to the AMX 12t...I see that the Bat Chat 125T is top of the tree and wanted your opinion on if I should go for it? I realize that all depends but just wanted your overall opinion on it. Thank you!

Field Mods do help out, some tanks more than others. Batchat is very hard to play, especially in the current meta, but any tier 10 is worth getting if you can get a really nice discount on it!

I’m not afraid to help the heavy pack in this tank. I’ll even eat a shot or 2 to keep them in the game. The gold pen and accuracy make you a threat to heavies. Farmed a lot of damage from support positions as well as right beside heavies. Overhead view, make sure they’ve fired then it’s time to harvest the crops

I've never much liked the Leo. Too much of a one-trick-pony. Does one thing really well, but that means there's a lot of maps you end up being kinda useless and I don't love playing those tanks. If WG could ever manage to fix their friggin maps, I might take this out more often, but we all know how unlikely that is

In my opinion, 99% of players don't have "all the credits in the world" and that's such an elitist point of view. Most of us normal players spend our credits as fast as we make them. I think you need to go with as much camo including the exhaust as you can on the Leopard.

I agree. The game is too much of a pay-to-win system that benefits rich people only, and people need to realize that most people who play are broke, and thus are simply attempting to enjoy a free game that is 100% stacked against them. I quit over 10 years ago because it was not sustainable, and I do not have the time to grind all day long just to enjoy a few higher up matches and be broke again.

I'm not rich, and I'm not a CC. I don't have burner cash to be spending on video games, which is why I play WoT. No duh full-gold is better. That's how it is on every tank. The rest of the review is great, but the ammo recommendation has to be at least tongue-in-cheek if not fully satire. Am I missing something?

No, the ammo recommendation is just how it is. You don't even necessarily need loads of credits to fire full gold either.
