Hi again, i've been having some troubles making new builds, mostly lack of motivation, but when i do have it, i cant really make nice details or a better looking build/creature/anything like that. So i'd like to ask if you got some advice on detailing😅
@Whillie228 күн бұрын
One of the tips I can give to you is to colour your builds with a palette of tones & degrade, basically many versions of the same colour (ex: you paint your creature with yellow, you can pick a darker or brighter yellow and make it a degrade to make it more detailed and prettier) Although the building part of your build will depend on your skill, just making the colours of your build diverse will already help a lot to make your build detailed!

i know youve made some tutorials on how we can make our own creations like this but, can you atleast please give us a tutorial for how to do the base of the body and how the mouth works?
@Whillie225 күн бұрын
The body base of your builds will mostly go with your skill, but a mouth work with a servo motor 2 (make sure only a part of it touches the jaw so it still works [which is the gray area] )

Honestly, I shall do a video about this question, but for now, have a typed-out one Tutorials are bad, that's the truth. They are something similar to cheating on a exam, you get it all right, but you don't learn anything from it. Tutorials CAN be a good source if you are a beginner, as it allows you to meet and interact more with the game itself, but after a while, you should take risks and start build and discover things by yourself, even if you fail sometimes. Tutorials make you more close-minded and dependent with your creativity and building skills, which I find a extreme big issue as I want everybody to be able to build whatever they have in their heads. I also think that tips are a better source to learn, as it doesn't simply lets you copy a build, but actually make you understand WHAT are you building and HOW it works, which makes you apply them into many other builds, and therefore, more original builds! And the last thing I would like to mention is that sometimes, people want their builds to be something unique and special, which is that tutorials aren't. Since you can easily see anybody with that same build you have, making it fell really unoriginal. I do not hate tutorials, I do think they should exist, but for the right audience and made by the right people for the right purpose.
