Saliva. Spit inside the mask and rub it in a bit right before you dive. It'll prevent from fogging up... I know it sounds crazy, but its true. it works 🤣 Good luck 🥰

Definitely gotta try it! I think I put the defogger in wayyyy too early and it dried by the time I got near the water

I've seen surfers spit on their gopros lens so it must work at least somewhat.

this! but make sure your mask is CLEAN beforehand. wash with soap and sponge before you leave the house and then the spit or defogger will help a lot more when you're in the water :)

I love the wave to underwater transition. Your videos are getting better. That “ray” you saw was actually a skate. Difference is in the lack of a whip for a tail. The large school of fish was sergeant majors and the narrow fish schooling at the surface(with the line down the body) was smelt. I was planning a dive today at Deer Creek road in Malibu today or tomorrow. Vis should be pretty good. You must still get cold when the water is 70. I always wear rubber because it’s colder at the bottom. Great video Jessica!

Ohhhh good to know. Do skates still sting? And it wasn't that cold the days I went snorkeling, it's been cooling down pretty quickly though

@@JessicaMiyukiArt skates do not sting but some have a thorn at the underside base of the tail for defense.

@@BongoX2x2 Ah maybe that's what I stepped on the other day. It definitely felt like a stingray under my foot but I didn't get stung. Or I got super lucky

Yeah it wasn't too bad! I've seen it more clear when surfing so I was hoping for a bit less sand floating around

Mermaid 🧜‍♀️🌊🧜‍♀️Great underwater filming !!! & Vid that leopard shark was sweet !!! Definitely agree with other viewer spit in mask works well … there is a product too you rub on your mask works well too . Going as a deep as you do snorkeling amazing the water pressure will always give ya lip grip ❤forehead , keep diving .

I used a defogger but for the first day I sprayed it before I walked down to the beach and I think it dried up..? But yea diving has been so fun! I only started last year so I have a lot to learn

You had me at leopard shark, haha. My wife and I have been dropping off our youngest at Newport Harbor for his sailing practice, so we've been driving home on PCH and visiting a new cove every time. Got them all, except for a couple of private ones. We want to take either paddleboards or our little boat and explore the private ones.

Great shots of the sessions despite the visibility concerns. I'm local in OC, but never snorkeled at those two beaches in Laguna. Crescent Bay looked awesome so I'll have to check it out one day!

Next time snorkel down off of 10th, there are 2 reefs down off the south end, visibility is always great and a lot more open water between the rocks

Oh good to know! I've been in OC for a while but only started snorkeling locally this year.. usually I snorkel when I'm traveling, but it's so beautiful here too
