Leopard spotted Pench Sillari " Missed the Tiger Encounter due to Late Arrival? Tips for Next Time".

SILLARI
This is famous and is considered to be a premium zone and is a part of Maharashtra Pench Reserve. Sillari is located around 85 km from Nagpur when you are travelling from Nagpur to Jabalpur. Sillari has a beautiful forest with dense Bamboo and Teak, with a lot of water bodies and waterfalls. One can even see the TotlahDoh Dam built on the Pench River. This part of the forest has good sightings of Wild Dogs and sloth bears and the chances of spotting the wild predators in their natural habitats is high in this zone. The entry gate of the zone is situated at Sillari village.
Pench is famous for its ferocious Bengal Tigers and boasts a significant amount of tourism in the park. At present, there are around 50 tigers residing in the prey-rich woodlands of the park's region. Besides this, the park also has 39 species of mammals 13 species of reptiles and 3 species of amphibians.
