I can't think that anyone who enjoys Mozart's music could take any exception to Kozeluch. Whilst he was a contemporary of Mozart, he carried the legend on brilliantly, as this work demonstrates.

@@sibarit101 agree too on David's good catch and thanks for your great choice of the day. I must say that this specific concerto is as good as Mozart's mature piano concertos. Obviously there's a half dozen Mozart piano concertos that are absolute masterpieces that not even Beethoven could match (my bucket list k271, 466, 467, 488 491, 595). Koželuch piano sonatas and concertos are on average absolutely worth to be permanently included in the most prestigious pianists' repertoire

Koželuch is a lesser known composer, although he was very talented and highly appreciated in his time. I'm glad that you listened to his music now and that you liked it!
