Great seats LePera... I've had LePera's on all my bikes except for a Beamer I had for a few years. Right now I have the 2-up Daytona. Great seat for daily use and short interstate jams but looking to go to the Maverick for the big trips. Good vids guys!

I have tried 4 different seats on my road king and I am thinking about a tail whip next. Is this a good seat for 300-400 mile days? I know everyone is different, just trying to get an idea. is it thicker padding or thin. some people say lepera is like riding on a leather wrapped 2x4.

I've done a handful of 3 -400 mile days without complaint. Laconia is usually 800 miles over a few days for me. Its on the thin side, but I found it far more comfortable than a Saddleman, which I find to be leather on a 2x4 . My only reason I don't always have it on is I ride 2 up with my wife a lot. She'll tolerate the tiny passenger portion for about an hour. Otherwise for multi day travel I just run the stock ultra couch seat.

@@3_AM So I tried the Tailwhip seat and it killed me after 30 min. It was brand new that a buddy just purchased.

Have you tried out a Step-Up? If you have, do you think the LePera Kick Flip is more comfortable than the Saddlemens Step-Up?

I had the Lucky Dave's step up for a brief time, which is made by Saddlemen. It was far to hard for my liking. I know a ton of people like the Saddlemens but for me the Le Pera is a nice in between.

Driver width is 12.5” passenger is 7.5”

How does the tailwhip seat change your seating height? Similar to stock or lower? I have a taller torso and would like a step up style seat but would also like to sit deeper into the bike. Thanks!

It’s definitely lower than the stock touring seat and maybe a bit lower than the standard oem seat. The seat being narrower and the step up back support definitely puts you deeper in the bike.
