I think it'd be tough to do because of how much china crap tech there is, but have you found a good 'trail cam' that'd be good for offgrid that isn't an absolute power hog, or going to 'the cloud' with everything? (doesn't require internet connection?) It's a pretty common question I get and I'm no closer to having an answer. grid down, running security cameras could easily run all your batteries down if you don't have a good plan. :( at least lights are doable! that's a relief at least.
