My way of catching a leprechaun is to make a little trap room and put candy and gold in it and a sign that says Come In For Candy so when the leprechaun comes in he will collect the candy and gold and I will attach a peace of string to the door so when the leprechaun wants to climb out he will use the string to climb out and when he pulls on the string the door will shut.
