I know it sucks and cost lost of money every time something breaks on leroy. But, we love this content because as you fully know, THIS is racing and that's what founded this channel and we love every minute of it! I hope you don't think any of us get tired of seeing the trial and error of it all, the fix and repair etc. I live for these videos. Try a carbon fiber driveshaft. They absorb more shock and are way stronger when you spec them out correctly. I used to build them at a company in Huntington Beach Ca called ACPT. There are other places that make them, but I would personally vouch for their quality

Well you got to remember Cletus and many other guys do not really pay sticker price or anything at all for a lot of these parts. Most of the parts on these cars are R&D prototypes that companies send to them or are on contract to send them so they can test what breaks and what doesn't. So they can iron out issues for their full production parts.

The truck coils are the best coils made for the ls engines. They make harnesses to swap truck coils onto pretty much all of them. The best aftermarket coils provide the same energy output of stock truck coils, but with much less reliability. So, it’s factory GM parts for the win. There are several variations of the truck coils, and a lot of opinions on which is best, but they all outperform the car coils by a good margin.

@@cdnroofer Not without ditching the vette style transmission. I have a suspicion that they've finally found the limits of what that design can hold. Also, deathkarts aren't all that aerodynamic, so that last half a second or so to get into the 6s is going to be a monumental task.

Not only am I happy watching so many of your videos, often a cathartic learning process when you break things, the racing has been a hoot, like when Leroy broke into the sevens, or you did a fastest stick shift pass, all the fun stuff man, it is a fine thing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have a great crew of skilled friends, ya'll have fun and know how to treat each other as brothers, and that is a very fine lesson for everyone imho. It's easy to forget that Leroy is a 'vette. I think what it needs is the taillights moved and spaced, so it makes you think they peeled body panels off a stock corvette and left lights hanging in their original spots. There's sort of a distinctive spacing of modern corvette taillights and I think even Leroy's bare lights could be spaced so they remind you of that. The other thing is that although I enjoy the cardboard capers and other shenanigans, Leroy would look sick with some sort of quick connect roof that borrows distinctive lines or shapes from either the hood or trunk of any modern corvette.

oh, how i love them combo moves. my mustang blew the mainshaft/tailshaft out of the tailshaft housing. same time the rear end gears blew a clean cut up the rear end cap.

Best outro ever! I think the two things on Ruby that need to stay the same are the sticker collage and the factory red color. You should do a Z06 make over for Ruby. New headlights as well.(and a drivers side rear marker lens and bulb)

Two great mates pushing cars to there limit more upgrades for Leroy the Faster he goes the more upgrades he gets. Keep that cycle happening Go faster, Break Bits, Upgrade and Repeat. That's why we keep coming back. Over all the time of this channel Leroy Keeps getting Faster. Must be Nearly time to get the Dale Truck motivating again.
