Did you know that Leroy has a combo tool that blatantly breaks the rules of the game? I did, and, well, honestly, a lot of people do, BUT did you know the full extent of it??? I bet not.

I think this information is very interesting, however I think the information could’ve been conveyed in a less confusing way. The confusion about the mechanics in the 2:14 mark is a result of a conflation between damage scaling and knockback scaling. The wall carry is still going to be more for the f+3 example because you still are doing more hits, even if the move is programmed to scale its damage differently compared to other options. You can see the difference in damage scaling vs knockback scaling whenever you do a wall break or sidewall or heat burst combo. The damage will be scaled differently, but the game still counts the hits separate from how it decides to scale its damage. This led to me getting confused about what you were trying to convey, so I had to rewatch to understand you were talking about damage scaling, not knockback scaling. On that note, very fascinating! This more likely than not is intentional since f+3 is likely designed to only be for combos, so having its chain punches drain the scaling would heavily neuter Leroy’s damage. That’s probably what the designers were thinking, but idk, this game is confusing, like you said yourself at the end.
