In the first chapter, Eunie is bathing with Lanz and Noah. During that scene, we see no other female characters. In a later scene, the male characters are embarrassed to dress in front of women. This implies that the world is not co-ed and unisex, but Eunie just doesn't care and wants to bathe with men

Its a bit weirder than that. SPOILERS Basically all Keves an agnus solier are implied to have a "filter" that prevents them from either noticing or just asking questions about certain things, including romance (an horny-ness) to a certain extent. Makes sense, if your army is mostly composed of hormonal teenagers, you might not want said teenager to be, well, behaving like teenagers. When released from the flame clocks this perception filter wore off, and the boys grew a raging stiffie just from the implications of what was happening, even though they can't understand why, and Kite falls HARD for Juniper, even though he doesn't understand what is happening (and yes these were played for laughs as well).

After the learn about babies, there's a scene where the group notices a bunch of armu, and they notice the size differences and commiserate over never having noticed it before, even though it was right there. Also a lot of other npc's, after the clocks they were attached to were destroyed start "acting up" so to say (kite down bad for the agnussy is the most blatant example). Another point in favour is the fact that mobius seemingly managed to keep the war going for millenia, with minimal resistance from those involved. You don't keep people from making questions for 10 years with just "dude,trust me". The consuls proved that simply having a flame clock means you can control the soldier's perception, so why not go a little further and remove certain filters and add others (like not reacting to a fellow soldier's nudity, or notice the life circle of the very animals you hunt, etc).

Not Eunie literally being the reason that I pick up the xenoblade series. Right now I'm a bit under 5 hours into the xenoblade chronicles definitive edition game movie (the ones with all the cutscenes) and I'm going to watch them for the second and any spin off games as well, and then 3 will be the first one of the games that I'll buy and play. I'm really excited to get it. (I know it's not crucial to have experienced the other games stories to play this one but I'm waiting until Christmas to ask for this game so the other games and their stories will keep me preoccupied until then.)

@@oqo3310 I'm not entirely sure what an emulator is, but if I'd need to use a computer for it that wouldn't work. I have a really crappy computer just to get me through my last 2 years of high school since my expensive one broke. My new one's already low on storage and I don't want to risk not being able to do school work just to play a game. No matter how much I love games, being able to graduate is much more important to me. If you can get emulators on other things, like phones or ipads or consoles at a relatively low price I will look into it though that also might not work for us. We had to use a bunch of the money we saved up for an emergency with our car and now we have to save all over again and are really budgeting.
