I subscribed after Paul got the top set KK backdoored by the QQ one card straight run out. Classic short deck bad beat for $600K plus.

I just don't get it... top poker players transitioning to this short deck game at these stakes. For example: 23:03 it just goes check check check when Wang has a pair and a straight draw, Koon has a pair and the only overcard left, and Badziakouski has top pair (although he doesn't know it).... So Wang doesn't build up the pot a little bit with a semi-bluff that either gets everyone else to fold, or reward him if his straight gets there, but also Badziakouski doesn't protect a decent pair? It's why the straight got there. This video has taught me two short deck things: either shove pre-flop with an alright starting hand or better, and also fold on the flop even if you've hit something decent but it's not the nuts. It just looks like everyone at the table is chicken and has forgotten what it takes to play true poker.
